rehab my injury
When injury side-lines you for a while, its an opportunity to come back better.
Athletes facing time on the sidelines don’t have to wait to recover. At ASPR, we collaborate with doctors and specialists across Tasmania to diagnose issues, create personalised rehabilitation plans, and guide athletes through every step of their recovery. Our goal is to help athletes become stronger, healthier, and more confident in their return to sport.
No matter your lifestyle or pain type, ASPR is dedicated to helping every individual return to their best physical self.
Injuries we rehab
At ASPR, we see every type of injured athlete.
ACL & KNee injuries
Knee injuries, including ACL tears, can be daunting for athletes and active individuals, often leading to months on the sidelines. Whether caused by sudden twists, awkward landings, or direct impact, these injuries require focused rehabilitation to restore strength, stability, and confidence. For all long term knee injuries, we suggest our rehab pathway. Click here to find out more.
Back pain
Back pain impacts all areas of life, not just sports. At ASPR, we use a Cognitive Functional Therapy approach, an evidence-based method to help you regain movement, boost back confidence, and return to what matters most to you.
Shoulder injuries
We help active people across Northern Tasmania to recover from shoulder injuries, including rotator cuff tears, dislocations, and instability. Our rehab combines hands-on care and strength-based exercise to reduce pain, improve mobility, and get you confidently back to sport.
Hamstring strains & tears
Hamstring injuries are common in running and field sports across Tasmania. We use evidence-based rehab to reduce pain, restore flexibility, and build strength. We aim to make athletes faster and more robust than they were before.
Ankle and lower limb
We treat sprains, fractures, and overuse injuries in the ankle and lower limb for active people in Launceston and surrounds. Our Physiotherapists and Strength and Conditioning coaches focus on restoring strength, stability, and mobility, returning you to sport with confidence.
achilles tendinopathy
Achilles pain can make every step feel like a challenge. Whether caused by overuse or sudden strain, targeted physiotherapy can help reduce pain, rebuild tendon strength, and restore confidence and pain-free movement.
