WHY FIELD AGILITY MATTERS

Gaining confidence after a major injury is often slow and not guaranteed. In fact, only 60% of ACL athletes return to their pre-injury level - and many never return to their previous level of competition or even play their sport at all.

No matter the injury - hip, knee, ankle - we focus on reintroducing planned and unplanned changes of direction, acceleration, deceleration, and jumping in a safe, supported environment. All under the watchful eye of an experienced physiotherapist and strength & conditioning coach.

At ASPR, we do things differently. Rather than giving athletes the “green light” and leaving them to figure out agility on their own, our Field Agility Classes offer real-time coaching and progress monitoring - because returning to running is often the biggest hurdle of all.

Rather then being given the green light to run or to start agility, and being left to do it alone, we do it differently here. Returning to running can often be the biggest hurdle in a return to play process. Not to mention getting your running form right. We offer the field agility class to ensure athletes are confident they aren’t going through this process alone.

FIELD AGILITY CLASS DETAILS

Small-group training program performed on the field with our physiotherapist. Here’s what you need to know

DURATION

45 minute group classes.

SUPERVISION

Run by physiotherapists who are qualified strength & conditioning coaches.

MEMBERSHIP

Ongoing weekly booking — cancel any time after the minimum committment is up.

MINIMUM COMMITMENT

A minimum of 4 classes is required to participate in the program.

COST

Classes are $35 each, billed via direct debit every Monday.

LOCATION

NTCA Ground 2, behind the LIFT gym (access via Racecourse Crescent)

MISSED CLASS POLICY

If you miss a class, the fee is non-refundable, similar to a standard gym membership.

PRE-REQUISITE

Before attending classes, you'll need an initial consult with one of our physiotherapists or exercise physiologists to determine your unique needs, your movement ability and your confidence.

CLAIMABLE

Fees are claimable through private health insurance.

PERSONALISED PROGRAM

You’ll receive a tailored program designed to meet your goals. We’ll guide you through each exercise, including proper technique and key focus areas.

CANCELLATIONS

If we cancel a class, your payment for that week will be refunded.

We also offer custom strength and agility programming for field or court athletes who prefer to train independently without attending class.

  • 6 Week Standard Program: $68

  • 6 Week Comprehensive Program: $89

These programs are ideal if you want structure and progression, but prefer to train solo or live further from Launceston.
